General Makeup Class Information

Makeup Class Curriculum Overview

A committee of Emmy Award-Winning Makeup Artists has prepared all makeup class content. All of our makeup classes have been designed with the most current techniques and uses the most professional makeup products available in the Entertainment Industry. Our Professional Makeup Instructors incorporate skills and techniques they use on television and movie sets all over the world.

General Makeup Class Format

Every makeup and hairstyling class is 'hands-on.' Each makeup class has a maximum number of students permitted. We do this to promote an environment where each student has easy access to the teacher to ask questions or review makeup technique.

Certificate of Completion

Subject to review, successful achievement of makeup course content, and teacher recommendation, qualified students will receive a Certificate of Completion from our makeup school. The Certificate represents that you have completed a course of professional makeup training. The Certificate also acknowledges that you studied under a Makeup Instructor who is a professional makeup artist currently working in the Entertainment Industry.

Audit Policy

Students who have fully paid for a class may retake that class for FREE! You may retake the class in any city it's offered. You may retake the class for up to two years from the time of completion of the class for which you registered. The following conditions apply...
1. There must be space available for you to attend. We may not know if there is space until very close to the class dates.
2. You must bring your brushes and hand-outs to use in class.
3. There is a $25.00/day product fee and you must pay for every day of class to participate in the 'hands-on' portion of class (3-Day class X $25.00/day = $75.00, etc.). If you choose to simply watch teacher lecture/demos and not participate,  there is no charge.
4. There is a $25.00 fee for a new Certificate.
5. The last day of Portfolio Beauty Week is a photo shoot and not included in the audit policy. To retake the photo shoot day costs $350.00 which includes the pictures.
6. Last Looks Makeup Academy reserves the right to refuse any former student the ability to retake a class for any reason.
7. There is a $60.00/day product fee for every Special Makeup Effects class. You must pay for every day of class to participate in the 'hands-on' portion of class. If you choose to simply watch teacher lecture/demos and not participate, there is no charge.
