A Message from Our CEO...
"I created Last Looks Makeup Academy to bring professional
Hollywood beauty and special effects makeup courses
to cities around the world. The Last Looks concept
is to provide students with the technical skills and
professional motivation to have success as a makeup
artist. We train students with the most up-to-date
techniques in a comprehensive and easily understood
format."
"We are proud to have
professional, working makeup artists as our
instructors. Their unique teaching style and engaging
personality will surely make each class fun and
exciting. We hope you agree. We welcome you to join
us!
Heather Savalas, CEO
Last Looks Makeup Academy
Our Mission Statement:
Last Looks is a traveling makeup
school. Our mission is to reach people who are
interested in professional makeup education but
simply can’t afford to leave their jobs for months
at a time, spend money on airline tickets, hotels or
apartments, and have no source of income due to a
prolonged course of study in makeup. And for
seasoned makeup artists, we offer a wide variety of
advanced courses in beauty and special makeup
effects.
Because the Entertainment Industry
has been branching away from Hollywood for the last
decade, there will be a need for qualified makeup
artists and technicians in all corners of the world.
We believe that it isn’t necessary to drop
everything and leave for Hollywood anymore. Soon,
the Entertainment Industry will come to you. Last
Looks want you to be prepared.
Our teachers are Award-winning
makeup artists who are actually working in the
Entertainment Industry on major motion pictures and
Prime-time TV shows. Our curriculum is formatted
with the techniques being used on set right now. If
a makeup artist/instructor comes back from a movie
or TV show with a new technique or product, we add
it to the curriculum.
Our instructors compiled a list of all the
professional-end makeup that they use on set, and we
bought it. If they use it, you use it. We want our
students to have the right tools to do the job. We
never take more than 16 students per class. We feel
that every student should have the opportunity to
interact with the teacher and receive “one-on-one”
attention for all of his or her questions and
specific needs. |
